I was making a belated birthday card for a co-worker, and I saw something online that said “Oh Nuts . . . I missed your birthday”
I used that for my inspiration for this card. I wanted a squirrel, so I went to MyCutSearch.com and typed in squirrel and found the PERFECT cut on the Stretch Your Imagination cartridge, which I own. After cutting the squirrel on the tower of acorns I used some deep purple paper that I ran through the Cuttlebug to back the cut and added the words “Oh Nuts!”
I also did a little shading on the acorns with some watercolors and blending pen. I have only used those a few times, so I still need to improve my skills with those, but I think it helped to give the acorns a little something and not look so flat.

Darn, your picture is not showing up, but it's funny because what is showing is a huge black box with a large exclamation point in the middle, so before I read thru your post I thought that was the card you made. Hey, it works for "Oh nuts!" I think.
I hate it when Blogger messes things up like that . . . thanks for the heads up . . . picture is posted now.
