- Cardstock in your choice of colors

Go to your downloads folder and you will have to unzip the folder. How to unzip a folder is different for every operating device so you might have to do a search to find the correct way for the device you are using.
Once you have the folder unzipped, you will be able to access all of the files inside. In Cricut Design Space click on the Upload button, then Upload Images and then Browse. Now you can go to the unzipped folder, which is probably still in your downloads folder. Click on the SVG file, which will be the one that has an icon that looks like a web browser icon.
In Design Space, the SVG file will default to “Save as Cut File”. Accept this choice and continue by clicking the green button in the lower right corner of the screen. Now the SVG will be on your Design Space canvas.
If you would like to change any of the colors of this card, you can do that now. Then click on the Shapes button and add a score line. Rotate the score line 90 degrees. Make the length of the score line the same as the length of the card.
Ungroup the card SVG before you proceed on to this next step. Once the card SVG is ungrouped, select both the card base and the score line, and then use the Align tool at the top of the screen to perfectly center the score line on the card base.
Once you ave the score line centered on the card base, make sure that you still have both the score line and card base selectind, and then click Attach in the lower right corner of the screen. It is the one that looks like a paper clip. This will hold the placement and position of the score line to the card base.
Now you are ready to start cutting all of the pieces out of cardstock for your card! Make sure to look at the Design Space screen to see the order that you should cut the colors.
Place the first color on to the cutting mat, place the cutting mat into the Cricut and the press the double arrow button to load the mat. Once the mat is loaded the C button on the Cricut will start to blink. Press that to have the cutting process begin.
Once you have cut all of your pieces you can start to assemble your card. I like to use a combination of a glue pen and a tape runner when I do this.
Make sure to fold and crease your card along the score line. The finished size of this card is called a Slimline card, and it fits into a standard business size envelope.
