Welcome to Simply Sunday with the Getting Cricky Design Team!
Today is the day that the Getting Cricky Design Team gets to show off some of the projects they have created with the wonderful stamps from K Andrew Designs. Our theme for this week is Let it Snow, and you have to use embossing in the project as part of the challenge.
I made this card for my daughter, and I plan to give it to her for Valentine’s Day. I had this made before I even realized that it fits PERFECT for today’s challenge!
The card is cut from the Wild Card Cricut cartridge. I cut a white circle slightly smaller than the card and embossed it with my Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder. To make the embossing really stand out, I used my pink ink pad across the top and edges of the circle. Then I cut a penguin from the Christmas Cheer Cricut cartridges . . . he is so cute! I added a bright pink heart with the stamped sentiment “Frosty Kisses” which was created from the K Andrew Winter Wishes stamp set.
Now for some blog candy! How about some gift certificates to Custom Crops! Let’s play a game to enter to win . . .
Those of you that know me know that my family created the website MyCutSearch.com and that I like to have everyone play a game with MyCutSearch.com in order to enter to win prizes. Since my card has a penguin on it, let’s go to MyCutSearch and search the word
Make sure to stop by Getting Cricky to see what the rest of the Design Team has created, and you can even enter your OWN project into the challenge.
