As I mentioned in my presentation, the layout of Cricut Design Space has changed over the years. The most recent update that added the Edit button in the upper left corner of the screen just happened in the second half of 2025!
There was so much negative feedback about this Edit button that Cricut is going back to having the toolbar on the top of the page. How do I know this? I often switch between the Live and the Beta version of Design Space so that I can see upcoming changes. If you do not know how to switch between Live and Beta, you can check out my video on that topic HERE.

I will not be releasing this updated cheat sheet to others until Cricut officially announces the changes to Design Space, so you will be ahead of others for having the most up to date information!
What to know a secret?
Guess what? I was once in your shoes! I was once a Cricut beginner! You can actually look way back on this blog and find my early posts and see how far I have come on my journey!
You can also see that I love helping people. I think we should spend more time having fun crafting than trying to figure out how to use a software program! I also use a lot of analogies in my tutorials. If I can relate something in the Cricut Design Space software to an every day situation or something most people would encounter in every day life, I feel that helps people to learn. One great example of this is how I compare Cricut Access to Netflix.
