WOW! Day one of the hop was so much fun! If you want to go back and check out the projects again, here is a link back to the start of day one. We did have a few “technical problems” yesterday . . . I guess that is why we are crafters and not programmers!
If you were playing along and were looking for the Hidden Mickey but never found it, you might have actually ended up looking at the projects from the Blog Hop we did back in March. Don’t worry . . . I have left you a BIG HINT so that you can still find the Hidden Mickey from yesterday. If at Ellen CardMonkey’s site you saw her wonderful cards and layouts and not her Winnie the Pooh Treehouse, that means you missed some of the THIS hop and were looking at projects from the LAST hop. It is fine . . . just click HERE to pick up where you should have with Ellen’s Winnie the Pooh Treehouse.
Okay . . . are you back from getting caught up on yesterday? LOL!
Today we have a whole new line up of crafting friends!
I am so happy to be hosting again with Melissa. We were overwhelmed by the feedback from people from the first hop, and the number of people that wanted to join in that we knew we HAD to expand the hop to include more crafters this time.
And it gets better . . . this time we have a GRAND PRIZE . . . a Gypsy donated by ContainYa Crafts, Maker of Scrap’n Tote & Scrap’n Easel How can you enter to win?
There will be two blogs, one on each day of the hop, who will have a special “Hidden Mickey” on their Blog Hop Button. It will look like the one to the left, which is just for example . . . I am NOT the Hidden Mickey Blog for today. To enter to win the Gypsy send an email to
cricutsearch at gmail dot com and tell us which two blogs you found the Hidden Mickey on. If you missed the hop yesterday, you can still go back and check out the projects, and look for the Hidden Mickey Post from yesterday.
(for a HINT of who it was yesterday, click HERE)
All entries must be in by midnight on May 1st, and the winner will be announced May 3rd at www.ScrapnToteBlog.com, http://craftychicsblog.blogspot.com/ and http://www.disneydreamerdesigns.blogspot.com/
Now on to my project.
For today I did a 2 page layout of The Seas with Nemo and Friends.
Remember the seagulls from the movie, who are always saying “Mine, Mine, Mine” Well, as you walk up to the attraction, there the seagulls are. Since my family loves to imitate those seagulls I had to make sure that they were a part of the layout! I also added Sheldon, the little seahorse to this page.
The left side of the layout has some pictures that I took and some pictures that my daughter took, including one of Beth standing with Nemo and Marlin. I used the Best of Pixar Cricut cartridge to cut Nemo, Pearl, the seaweed and the treasure chest.
Did you notice what I added inside of the treasure chest?
Some gold and silver Mickey Mouse treasure!
Before you go, I would like to offer you a chance to win the Cricut Cartridge Best of Pixar, which was donated to us by Custom Crops. If you have not shopped at Custom Crops you have to check them out . . . everything you need for your paper crafts in one place.
To enter to win the Best of Pixar Cricut Cartridge, just go to my favorite site, MyCutSearch.com and type
into the search bar, and find how many different handbook pages come up in your search. Then send me an email telling me the number of handbook pages you found . . . you can email me by clicking here, or by going to the Contact Us page of MyCutSearch.com, since it is not only my favorite site but one that was created by my family.
Entries must be in by midnight Sunday May 1st.
Here is the full list of bloggers, in case the Disney Villains mess with our hop again today! I have even included the places I have found link issues to help you find your way.
Thank you so much for coming to this blog hop!
And now I send you off to Diane at
