If you know me, you know that I LOVE Mickey Mouse, so I decided to personalize my luggage with not only our family name, but Mickey too. You could pick any theme that is unique to YOU!
Use Embroidery to Personalize Your Luggage
I own the sewing/embroidery machine by Brother that comes with Disney characters pre-programmed into the machine so this project was very easy. The hardest part was that I had to hold the luggage as it was being embroidered otherwise the weight of it pulled on the hoop and the image would have been distorted.

Other Ways to Personalize Your Luggage
Besides embroidery, you could use heat transfer vinyl to decorate any fabric luggage. I have a Vinyl Buyer’s Guide that will show you how to make sure you are getting the best deal when purchasing your vinyl.
If you have hard sided luggage you could use permanent vinyl to add decals! These can easily be created with your Cricut or any other cutting machine.
Don’t want to put a design right on your luggage? What about a personalized luggage tag! This way you can easily change it whenever you want. Luggage tags can be decorated with vinyl or even sublimation.
