If you need a quick and easy card, here is just the thing for you.
Take one piece of cardstock and cut it in half to be the base of the card.
Cut a second piece of cardstock slightly smaller than the front of the base of the card. For mine, I cut it about 1″ smaller all the way around.
Run the second, smaller piece of cardstock through an embossing folder. For mine I used the Happy Birthday embossing folder from Provo Craft
Find a piece of patterned cardstock and create little corner frames for the card. This gives it just a pop of an accent.
Next, remember back in the day when we all used to buy all kinds of stickers to use in our scrapbooks? And then we didn’t use them. And now we still have them sitting around. What do we do with them now?
Add them to a card, like I did for this slice of birthday cake. I punched a circle and put the sticker on top and then added some dots with my Viva Decor pen. Now it is not just a boring little sticker.
