Scrapbooking Layout

Today I want to share a page from a digital scrapbook that I did.   I really like how this page turned out . . . even though it is a digital scrapbook page, the items on the page really have such depth.  One of the things that kept me away from digital scrapbooking for so long was that I thought that a digital scrapbook would look “flat”.  I like that fact that the different layers of papers and embellishments add depth to a page.  But this page shows that you can have that same depth with a digital page.

The background looks like it was embossed, and those little beads and ribbons look so real . . . and I did not have to glue all of those beads down, and have some fall off the table and roll around for someone to step on later!

I used the software to do this book, and I really love how easy it is to use!  I created the entire scrapbook in just a couple of days!

The paper and the main embellishment I used for this page were in packs that I purchased for less than $3, or they were in free packs.  The numbers for the 2011 were just added with the text button . . . just like a Word Document you have lots of fonts to choose from.

One thing I really like is that there are free kits that you can download.  I check the My Memories site every few weeks to see what new items have been added to the Free section and download anything that I like.  If I am not using it for a project NOW I might use it later, and you might as well get it while it is free.

Would you like to give digital scrapbooking a try?

If you use the code

you can get $10 off the My Memories software!

Just go to to download the software and then you can start looking at the free kits and papers so that you can create your own digital scrapbooks too.
